Sensei Amelia Enfield - 1st Dan

Amelia Enfield
Amelia began her training in Karate when she was only 9 years old, and quickly stood out from her fellow students, as she began to help teach at the age of 11!

Coming from a background of Gojo-Ryu karate, Amelia looked for some variety in her martial arts, and so began her training in Wado-Ryu under Sensei Paul Bowles in early 2006. Shortly afterwards she ceased her training with Gojo-Ryu, and began focusing solely on her Wado-Ryu training with the S.S.K.O.

Soon Amelia's leadership skills shone through, and she began to assist in teaching the younger students at the Bishops Waltham class, and as a result Sensei Bowles was delighted to show commitment to Amelia by promoting her to Cadet Instructor in July 2006.

Amelia was promoted to Assistant Instructor in July 2007 after a year's training as a Cadet Instructor.

You can meet Amelia at most of the training sessions, and any of the day courses.

She has a strong reputation in tournaments, especially in the Kumite (sparring).

Amelia recently gained her 1st Dan Black Belt, and in a short space of time has become a well respected student and instructor within the S.S.K.O.
